A Postponed Challenge

Dear Substack Friends,

For today’s post, I’d planned to share an experience from last Thursday in which I’d challenged my powers of concentration at LaGuardia Airport. When I woke up this morning, I saw the tragic news about the accident there, and unpublished the post. There is no way to see any humor on a day like this.

And for those of you who saw that post in your inbox, I’m so sorry for any harm. I scheduled the post to hit at 6:00am, and I hadn’t checked the news when it went out. Lesson learned about scheduling posts.

I will share that experience one day, but in the meantime, I’m sending out my deepest condolences to the families of the pilots who died. We are all fellow travelers today, so you have my best wishes for safety and peace wherever your journeys take you.
